Are you over 35 and trying to conceive? If you are, you’ve probably been given the diagnosis of ‘Advanced Maternal Age’ or AMA. I know that doesn’t sound pretty, and it might even make you start to worry…
But the truth is… many women delay pregnancy well into their 30s and beyond — and deliver healthy babies!
If you’ve turned 35 and are on a journey towards getting pregnant, you might be asking yourself if there’s anything you need to do to help the process.
On this episode of The Fertility Godmother’s Show on YouTube, I shared 7 steps to help you with Advanced Maternal Age.
Whenever I consult with clients, I make it a priority to look at their labs to analyze the balance in their bodies from an informed perspective.
When you’re trying to get pregnant, it helps to make sure your body:
- is balanced
- has all the proper nutrients
- your hormones are in-sync
Part of knowing the nature of your body and getting a better understanding of it is also studying your menstrual cycle.
It helps to see if you have:
- a regular period
- regular ovulation
- you’re not experiencing pain during your cycle
If you have a regular cycle and your lab results look positive, we can then move on to the other 5 steps towards ensuring that you can have a healthy pregnancy after age 35, like cleansing for fertility.
If you’re over 35 and ready for a baby, let’s talk!
